Previously we had `Context` and `ContextStore` in both `agent_ui` (used
to store context for the inline assistant) and `assistant_context` (used
for text threads) which is confusing.
This PR makes it so that the `assistant_context` concepts are now called
`TextThread*`, the crate was renamed to `assistant_text_thread`

Currently running `cargo update` on Zed will break the collab crate
because the versions of sea-orm and sea-orm-macros will not match. This
results in a bunch of noisy warnings from rust-analyzer.

We've been considering removing workspace-hack for a couple reasons:
- Lukas ran into a situation where its build script seemed to be causing
spurious rebuilds. This seems more likely to be a cargo bug than an
issue with workspace-hack itself (given that it has an empty build
script), but we don't necessarily want to take the time to hunt that
down right now.
- Marshall mentioned hakari interacts poorly with automated crate
updates (in our case provided by rennovate) because you'd need to have
`cargo hakari generate && cargo hakari manage-deps` after their changes
and we prefer to not have actions that make commits.
Currently removing workspace-hack causes our workspace to grow from
~1700 to ~2000 crates being built (depending on platform), which is
mainly a problem when you're building the whole workspace or running
tests across the the normal and remote binaries (which is where
feature-unification nets us the most sharing). It doesn't impact
incremental times noticeably when you're just iterating on `-p zed`, and
we'll hopefully get these savings back in the future when
rust-lang/cargo#14774 (which re-implements the functionality of hakari)
is finished.

serde 1.0.221 introduced serde_core into the build graph, which should
render explicitly depending on serde_derive for faster build times an
obsolote method.
Besides, I'm not even sure if that worked for us. My hunch is that at
least one of our deps would have `serde` with derive feature enabled..
and then, most of the crates using `serde_derive` explicitly were also
depending on gpui, which depended on `serde`.. thus, we wouldn't have
gained anything from explicit dep on `serde_derive`

computations, which most importantly lets us do them only once when a
large number of DiagnosticUpdated events are received at once.

The previous PR #33932 introduced a way to "close" the
`pending_requests` buffer of the `TransportDelegate`, preventing any
more requests from being added. This prevents pending requests from
accumulating without ever being drained during the shutdown sequence;
without it, some of our tests hang at this point (due to using a
single-threaded executor).
The bug occurred because we were closing `pending_requests` whenever we
detected the server side of the transport shut down, and this closed
state stuck around and interfered with the retry logic for SSH+TCP
adapter connections.
This PR fixes the bug by only closing `pending_requests` on session
shutdown, and adds a regression test covering the SSH retry logic.

This breaks a transitive dependency of `agent` on UI crates. I've also
found and eliminated some dead code in assistant_context_editor.

of which tools are enabled or not to the profile itself.
This makes it much easier to switch between profiles, means there is
less global state being changed on every profile change.

This PR introduces a new `StripeClient` trait to abstract over
interacting with the Stripe API.
This will allow us to more easily test our billing code.
This initial cut is small and focuses just on making
`StripeBilling::find_or_create_customer_by_email` testable. I'll follow
up with using the `StripeClient` in more places.

This PR allows DAPs to define their own schema so users can see
completion items when editing their debug.json files.
Users facing this aren’t the biggest chance, but behind the scenes, this
affected a lot of code because we manually translated common fields from
Zed's config format to be adapter-specific. Now we store the raw JSON
from a user's configuration file and just send that.
I'm ignoring the Protobuf CICD error because the DebugTaskDefinition
message is not yet user facing and we need to deprecate some fields in
it.

This PR removes the `CountLanguageModelTokens` RPC message from collab.
We were only using this for Google AI models through the Zed provider
(which is only available to Zed staff).
For now we're returning `0`, but will bring back soon.

Now all debug sessions are routed through the debug panel and are
started synchronously instead of by a task that returns a session once
the initialization process is finished. A session is `Mode::Booting`
while it's starting the debug adapter process and then transitions to
`Mode::Running` once this is completed.
This PR also added new tests for the dap logger, reverse start debugging
request, and debugging over SSH.

This adds a "workspace-hack" crate, see
[mozilla's](https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/file/3a265fdc9f33e5946f0ca0a04af73acd7e6d1a39/build/workspace-hack/Cargo.toml#l7)
for a concise explanation of why this is useful. For us in practice this
means that if I were to run all the tests (`cargo nextest r
--workspace`) and then `cargo r`, all the deps from the previous cargo
command will be reused. Before this PR it would rebuild many deps due to
resolving different sets of features for them. For me this frequently
caused long rebuilds when things "should" already be cached.
To avoid manually maintaining our workspace-hack crate, we will use
[cargo hakari](https://docs.rs/cargo-hakari) to update the build files
when there's a necessary change. I've added a step to CI that checks
whether the workspace-hack crate is up to date, and instructs you to
re-run `script/update-workspace-hack` when it fails.
Finally, to make sure that people can still depend on crates in our
workspace without pulling in all the workspace deps, we use a `[patch]`
section following [hakari's
instructions](https://docs.rs/cargo-hakari/0.9.36/cargo_hakari/patch_directive/index.html)
One possible followup task would be making guppy use our
`rust-toolchain.toml` instead of having to duplicate that list in its
config, I opened an issue for that upstream: guppy-rs/guppy#481.

This is a refactoring PR that does three things:
- First, it introduces a new `diff` crate that holds the previous
contents of the `git::diff` module, plus the `BufferChangeSet` type
formerly of `project::buffer_store`. The new crate is necessary since
simply moving `BufferChangeSet` into `git::diff` results in a dependency
cycle due to the use of `language::Buffer` to represent the diff base in
`BufferChangeSet`.
- Second, it renames the two main types in the new diff crate:
`BufferDiff` becomes `BufferDiffSnapshot`, and `BufferChangeSet` becomes
`BufferDiff`. This reflects that the relationship between these two
types (immutable cheaply-cloneable "value" type + stateful "resource
type" with subscriptions) mirrors existing pairs like
`Buffer`/`BufferSnapshot`. References to "change sets" throughout the
codebase are updated to refer to "diffs" instead.
- Finally, it moves the base_text field of the new BufferDiff type to
BufferDiffSnapshot.

This PR removes the `POST /predict_edits` endpoint from the LLM service,
as it has been superseded by the corresponding endpoint running in
Cloudflare Workers.
All traffic is already being routed to the Cloudflare Workers via the
Workers route, so nothing is hitting this endpoint running in the LLM
service anymore.
You can see the drop off in requests to this endpoint on this graph when
the Workers route was added:

a subproject is a language-specific subset of a worktree which should be
accurately tracked on the language server side. We'll have an ability to
set multiple disjoint workspaceFolders on language server side OR spawn
multiple instances of a single language server (which will be the case
with e.g. Python language servers, as they need to interact with
multiple disjoint virtual environments).
Project Tree assumes that projects of the same LspAdapter kind cannot
overlap. Additionally project nesting is not allowed within the scope of
a single LspAdapter.

This PR adds a new `assistant_context_editor` crate.
This will ultimately house the `ContextEditor` so that it can be
consumed by both `assistant` and `assistant2`.
For the purposes of this PR, we just introduce the crate and move some
supporting constructs to it, such as the `ContextStore`.
